51m Brigantino S. Giorgio an historic Benetti Sailing Ship

The Brigantino S. Giorgio an historic Benetti Sailing Ship measures 51 metres and was built entirely in wood in 1921 at the Benetti shipyard in Viareggio. At the time, she was the largest brigantine on the Mediterranean. It is one of the largest sailing ships preserved inside of a museum.

Weschler Family and Friends Make Syndicate Pledge to SSV Oliver Hazard Perry

Geoff Holt wins YJA Pantaenius Yachtsman of the Year at Trinity House

Today, British yachtsman Geoff Holt MBE won the coveted title of YJA Pantaenius Yachtsman of the Year for 2010. The announcement was made at an awards ceremony held at Trinity House, London. Discovery Yachts expand production facilities in Southampton, England

Discovery Yachts has announced plans to expand production facilities at its base in Harbour Close, Marchwood, taking over the remaining units on the site. The expansion, which will take place in February this year, will allow the company to build the award-winning Discovery 50 Catamaran alongside its monohull models, the Discovery 55 and Discovery 67.
