Tickets for the Liverpool Boat Show 2011 are now on sale. The highly anticipated new boating show is set to attract 400,000 visitors when it takes place from April 29 to May 8 in the historic waterside surroundings of the Albert Dock on the banks of the River Mersey.

The extraordinary carbon-fiber machine USA 17 is being loaded onto the freighter M.V. Star Isfjord this week for the long delivery trip to San Francisco via the Panama Canal.
