This week’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) will be attended by the NZ Marine companies, including the prominent NZ shipyards, McMullen & Wing and Alloy Yachts.
This week’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) will feature two luxurious vessels built by Perini Navi: 73m mega yacht GRACE E, as well as the 60m charter yacht SEAHAWK.
Superyacht Clan VIII has become the overall winner of the inaugural Ibiza Rendezvous and joined charter yacht P2 –winner of the Newport Bucket 2014 – in the Perini Navi 2014 Hall of Fame.
Both built by the prestigious Italian manufacturer Perini Navi, the 60m charter yacht Seahawk (hull C.2193) as well as the majestic 40m super yacht State of Grace (hull C.2180) have been both selected as the finalists for the 2014 ISS Design Awards.
The all-new 39m super yacht Project C.2196 has been proudly unveiled by Perini Navi. Boasting totally redesigned lines, this striking sloop belongs to the company’s Racing Line.
In partnership with the Swedish media agency 3D Interactive, the Turkish luxury yacht manufacturer, Esenyacht, has developed an augmented reality app, showing the 50m sailing yacht Troy, as well as the new 50m composite motor yacht Project Taurus. The yard has also unveiled the first renderings of Project Taurus.
The majestic 2012 super yacht Minalli was built by Naval Yachts in Bodrum, Turkey. Measuring 40 meters in LOA, she can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests.
This year’s 35th Anniversary Rolex Middle Sea Race was marked by a record number of entries, as well as a wide range of weather conditions. The overall winner of the 2014 event has become Lee Satariano’s Maltese J/122 Artie yacht. The 36th edition of the Rolex Middle Sea Race will kick off on October 17, 2015.
Beautifully designed by German Frers, the all-new 110-foot sailing superyacht Wally 110 is currently in build at Wally. Her mould has been recently completed and is scheduled for delivery in June 2016.
Set to kick off from Lanzarote on November 29, the inaugural RORC Transatlantic Race will be attended by an international fleet of yachts. The largest vessel to compete will be the 100ft sailing yacht Nomad IV.
The majestic 56,4m Alloy superyacht Mondango 3 (AY46), as well as the striking 46m Feadship yacht Como have been nominated for the 2014 ISS Awards. Both vessels have been beautifully designed by Dubois Naval Architects.
Measuring impressive 85 meters in length, the outstanding mega yacht Project 85 is currently under construction at Vitters Shipyard and Oceanco in the Netherlands. Due to be delivered middle of 2015, Project 85 boasts stylish interiors by Dolker + Voges.
