Sunday saw the beginning of the practice for four luxury vessels, participating in this year’s J Class Regatta. These comprise charter yacht Ranger, sailing yacht Lionheart, luxury yacht Rainbow as well as superyacht Velsheda.
At the moment, the 2005 luxury sailing yacht Velacarina by Claasen Jachtbouw is getting ready for this year’s Pendennis Cup, held from July 2 to 7. Designed by well known Andre Hoek, Velacarina is a Truly Classic vessel, boasting beautiful interior made of wood.
Lewmar will be present at this year’s superyacht regattas, including the J Class Regatta as well as the Pendennis Cup. Four spectacular vessels competing in the J Class Regatta, such as luxury charter yacht Ranger and others will be fitted with Lewmar equipment, while the company will act as one of the sponsors in the Pendennis Cup.

In order to make it available for purchase or lease, the company Multi One Design S.A has purchased the MOD70 trimaran yacht No. 02 (ex Veolia Environnement), fully prepared to compete in the Multi One Championship. This spendid vessel was launched on June 18, 2011.
The winners of this year’s Newport Charter Yacht Show Culinary Competition have become the superyacht Lady M’s Chef Eddj and the luxury yacht Destiny’s Chef Megan taking home honors in Grande and Premier Classes, respectively.
This year’s Superyacht Cup Palma started with perfect weather conditions. Class 1 is currently led by the 34m charter yacht Highland Breeze, built by Nautor Swan and designed by Frers, while the current winner of Class 2 is the 30m luxury yacht Reesle, designed by Hoek.
The overall winner of this year’s Westward Cup has become the luxury sailing yacht Mariette, followed by the charter yacht Eleonora E (ex Eleonora) and the superyacht Mariquita, respectively.
