On Tuesday the 15th of June, Alloy Yachts christened the 44.2m sailing yacht Imagine.
This is the second Dubois designed Imagine Alloy Yachts has created, having built the first Imagine back in 1993. The team of Dubois Naval Architects and Alloy Yachts, working with the owner has created a high performance, superyacht with the technical sailing attributes of a much smaller racing machine.
The French sailor, Jean-Pierre Dick, has imagined a top-of-the-range fast cruising yacht whose design is unique. Designed by Guillaume Verdier and the interior designed by Stéphanie Marin, the first JP54 has just been launched in Auckland, New Zealand. Produced in a limited series by Absolute Dreamer, the JP54 takes its inspiration from the performances of racing boats to discover new horizons. The JP54 will be in France this summer.
The huge steel displacement superyacht ECLIPSE measures around 170 metres, making her the world’s largest (or longest) private mega yacht in the world. M/Y ECLIPSE was designed by Hermidas Atabeyki with interior designs by the very well know yacht designer Terrence Disdale. She was built by the Thyssenkrupp Blohm + Voss shipyard in Hamburg, is a large industrial giant in Germany. The mega yacht has a gross tonnage of around 13,000 tonnes and superyacht Eclipse is slightly larger (around 36 ft longer) than the world’s previous longest private luxury yacht Dubai at 162 m, as owned by Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai.
Motor yacht Baiterek had her exterior design work created by a Ukrainian design firm called Proline, who also created the video below. She is a high volume superyacht with over 1160 m2 of living areas and she has a displacement of 420 tons.

Built by Royal Van Lent, the 44.65 m (146’ 6”) motor yacht Sirius epitomizes the benefits of the new custom concept. The exterior yacht design of Siius was developed by De Voogt Naval Architects with Sinot Design Associates, the mature and contemporary exterior profile is combined with the unmistakable timeless lines and well-defined curves of a Feadship. Among the many sophisticated details is the way the knuckle goes ‘through’ the large main deck windows to enhance the nautical feel.
Another exciting launch has been announced from Codecasa today. The first CODECASA 45S Hull 72, named FRAMURA 2 yacht has been launched on the 5th of June 2010. This new fast motoryacht Framura 2, designed by Andre Bacigalupo continuing the famous open Codecasa 35s and Codecasa 41s lines, has a propulsion given by two waterjets KaMeWa 71 S 3 and one booster KaMeWa 63 B 3 and it is provided of three engines MTU 2400 HP each.
The 40.5 m Mondo Marine Superyacht Manifiq was launched in May 2010 and last week she was delivered to her new owners who will cruise the Mediterranean in the 2010 summer season. The ceremony took place at Mondo Marine’s facility in Savona.

Marco Yachts has been in news for its unusually named super yacht Z, the superyacht GIN TONIC II and the 85 meter Super Yacht 231 by Ken Freivokh Design, which are presently under construction.
