The first ISA 140 motor yacht is currently under construction at ISA Shipyard in Ancona. The ISA 140 series is ISA’s largest semi-custom superyacht of composite construction with hull and superstructure built from Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP). The first hull in the ISA 140 series is due to be completed and launched in 2011.

Store Bay Marine Services, a Tobago-based marine services company is now offering bunkering, provisioning and shore support for super and mega yachts following the successful refuelling of the multimillion dollar motor yacht Red Pearl. Yacht Red Pearl was built in Brazil by MCP Yachts last year and made her maiden voyage to Venezuela bunking and provisioning in Tobago with Store Bay Marine Services. The Marshall Islands registered, 100 foot superyacht docked in Tobago’s main port of Scarborough to take on 18,154 litres of diesel.

The International Yacht Awards held last Friday at The Savoy, London were hosted by design et al, a leading interior design magazine in the United Kingdom at The Savoy, London. The new award ceremony gave focus to some of the best superyacht designs on the water. Both new and established designers were recognised at the ceremony following a champagne reception dinner at the Savoy Hotel.
Delta Marine is excited about the construction of a 66-meter motor yacht to be built under the hull number 211042. The new Delta 66m motor yacht will be built for an American family, with an ice strengthened steel hull and composite superstructure and is expected to be delivered in 2013. The yacht is designed by Delta Design Group with interior design by Diane Johnson Design.

The 71m ‘HydroTec Global Explorer’ motor yacht designed by Hydro Tec is to be built by the Italian shipyard Palumbo. The 71.10m (233.27ft) Global Explorer yacht is a high volume expedition vessel, designed to circumnavigate the world. To be built to RINA class and MCA compliant, the Hydrotec Global Explorer has a build time of 30-36 months.
Delta Marine has received a new order for a 66m new superyacht which will be built under the hull number 211042. The new 66m motor yacht which is expected to be delivered in 2013 is built in steel and aluminium. The yacht is designed by Delta Design with an interior design penned by Diane Johnson Design.

Proteksan Turquoise has launched 3 superyachts in a row, the latest of which is a 70m motor yacht Talisman C. The final handover to the owner is planned for mid June; followed by a short cruising schedule before a visit to the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
