Marking the launch of the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA), a press conference was held at The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club today which was well attended by journalists and industry professionals from all around the region.
The complete list of nominees for the upcoming Asia Boating Awards 2011 has now been released, with some impressive surprises and the return of some industry stalwarts. The Asia Boating Awards, now in its seventh year, is the region’s most established and respected event of its kind. This year sees awards in 23 categories, recognising Asian builders and international brands, as well as Asian regattas, marinas and yacht designers working in Asia. The pioneering Asia Boating Awards was the first event to recognise the efforts and successes of Asian yacht builders.

Luxury expedition yacht Big Fish has logged more than 28,000nm since her launch last July, including visits to Tahiti, the Galapagos, the Antarctic and Amazon. Her next stops include Sweden, Baltic, London, St. Petersburg, the Arctic Circle.
