Jenny and Simon Wilmshurst-Smith were the MDL Marinas’ first customers with Passeport Escales to have arrived in France on May 5, following a great news about the partnership of MDL Marinas and French marina operator, Sagemor.
Last week saw the Dennis Conner’s North Cove in New York City host the 100-foot charter yacht Leopard 3. She left on Saturday, May 11, heading to the lovely yacht charter destination – the Solent in England.
The dates for the 2014 Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX) have been set. The event will run from January 9 to 12, once again hosting luxury yachts and superyachts from the most important builders.

Exhibitors wishing to attend this year’s Gold Coast International Marine Expo are encouraged to secure their places at this popular event, running from November 1 to 3. Last year’s Expo hosted 188 exhibitors, including 40 new companies.
Situated in the popular NZ yacht charter destination – Auckland, the fabulous Viaduct Marina will be hosting the 2013 Auckland On Water Boat Show, running from September 26 to 29. The event will be attended by boats and yachts of all sizes.
May 4 saw the Overmarine Group’s partner, Michl Marine, inaugurate a new Mangusta office in the beautiful superyacht marina Puerto Portals, situated in the enchanting Mediterranean yacht charter location – Palma de Mallorca.
Positioned in the enchanting Italian yacht charter destination – Tuscany, the Marina di Scarlino offers a first-class service, also thanks to a collaboration with the prestigious luxury yacht manufacturer, Nautor’s Swan. It accommodates yachts measuring up to 36m in LOA.
The recently concluded Palma International Boat Show was a real success. The event was attended by around 37,000 visitors, as well as a royal visit, the first in the Show’s history. There were 47 superyachts in total, all measuring over 24m in LOA.
The last month’s Singapore Yacht Show was a tremendous success, having drawn attraction of more than double the number of last year’s exhibitors, comprising a significantly wider choice of yachts in the 30ft – 80ft category.
