The first Ibiza Rendezvous superyacht regatta has been a huge success, firmly establishing itself in the Mediterranean’s racing calendar. Entries for the next year’s edition of the regatta, running from October 7 to 10, are already open.
Set to kick off from Lanzarote on November 29, the inaugural RORC Transatlantic Race will be attended by an international fleet of yachts. The largest vessel to compete will be the 100ft sailing yacht Nomad IV.
Marina di Stabia, a lovely Naples yacht rental destination, positioned in Italy, has been announced as the latest addition to MDL’s Mediterranean Network. This five-star marina can accommodate superyachts in excess of 100 metres in LOA.
St Kitts and Nevis, a popular Caribbean yacht holiday destination, will boast two new superyacht marinas: Christophe Harbour Marina in St Kitts and Tamarind Cove Marina in Nevis. Both marinas will be able to accommodate yachts up to 300′ (90m) in LOA.
Construction ceremony marked the official start of the construction of the 50m superyacht ADMIRAL C FORCE 50, due to be delivered in Summer 2016. Designed by Unielle in collaboration with the Italian Sea Group Centro Stile, the vessel will comfortably sleep up to 14 guests.
From November 27 to 29, 2015, Port Dickson, a lovely Malaysia yacht holiday destination, will play a host to the very first Malaysia Yacht Show (MYS). The event is expected to feature more than 4000sqm worth of yachts, boats and luxury lifestyle exhibits.
Monday, October 13, 2014, saw the Yacht Club Marina di Loano, a beautiful Italy yacht holiday location, hosted the second ‘Captain’s Day’, organized by the ItalianYachtMasters. Organisation, professionalism and training, regulations and taxation were just some of the topics discussed over the course of the day.
Saturday, October 18, was marked by the record start of the 2014 Rolex Middle Sea Race, attended by an impressive fleet of 122 yachts. The favoured candidate for the line honours victory is the 100-foot Maxi yacht Esimit Europa 2.
Jakarta in Indonesia, a fabulous Asia yacht holiday destination, will be hosting the 3rd edition of Indonesia Yachts Show on August 22 and 23, 2015. More than 6000 international visitors are expected to attend the event.
