Sailing yacht B2 from Italy has been confirmed as the overall winner of the 34th Rolex Middle Sea Race, while the 86-foot superyacht Morning Glory claimed line honours two days ago.
Following her successful launch on August 19, the second Electra superyacht FREEDOM by IAG Yachts is set to be delivered to her new Malaysian owner this month.
Last Saturday saw the new owner take over his new luxury yacht Bandido 75, previously owned by ex Formula 1 star Ralf Schumacher. The vessel has been beautifully refitted by Drettmann Yachts from Germany and is currently on the way to the lovely Mediterranean yacht charter location – Spain.

The all-new Horizon RP110 superyacht Andrea VI will not make her world premiere at the 2013 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, due to a shipping delay. She will be officially presented to the public for the very first time at the next year’s Palm Beach Boat Show, taking place in March.
Two of the largest yachts ever built by the US shipyard Jarrett Bay will be showcased at this year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2013. These include the 70′ motor yacht Ravaganza (hull no. 48), as well as the 77′ luxury yacht Blank Check (hull no. 56).
NISI Yachts will be attending the upcoming Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, presenting its recently launched motor yacht NISI 1700, as well as superyacht NISI 2400GT.
This year’s Monaco Yacht Show was marked by the official presentation of the E-motion superyacht series, developed by Admiral Tecnomar and Dobroserdov Design. This new series includes Admiral 55 and Admiral 52 yachts, both scheduled for launch in spring 2016.
Developed in collaboration with Vripack from the Netherlands, the all-new Tecnomar ENVY superyacht series has been introduced by Admiral Tecnomar, part of the Italian Sea Group, at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
Built by Alloy Yachts to a design by Dubois Naval Architects, the lovely 47m superyacht Loretta Anne (hull AY43) has been nominated for the 2013 ISS Awards, just like sailing yacht Twilight and Ohana yacht, also designed by Dubois.
The prestigious gala evening, known as ‘The Ultimate Event by Grant Torrens’, has been recently hosted by Princess Yachts Australia in Sydney. The event was marked by the regional debuts of the new Princess V48, Princess 52 and Princess 82 yachts.
This year’s Genoa Boat Show saw the prestigious Tuscan luxury yacht manufacturer, VSY, sign the voluntary agreement for the carbon footprint with the Italian Ministry of the Environment.
