It was a busy year 2013 for Derecktor Florida, with a long line of re-power yacht projects and generator replacements, including such important vessels as the 130′ Westship charter yacht Northern Lights. The on-going projects include the 131′ Heesen charter yacht Mirage.
The 142ft Troy-built superyacht The Big Blue (ex Imbros) reached Derecktor Florida on May 22, 2012, for a major refit. She was successfully re-launched in June 2013, currently enjoying the azure waters of the lovely South Pacific yacht charter destination – French Polynesia.
January 2, 2014, saw Derecktor Florida re-launch the iconic 150′ Feadship charter yacht Highlander (ex The Highlander), following her major refit. She is available for Mediterranean yacht charter the upcoming season, from April onwards.
The currently running Dusseldorf Boat Show saw the well known British builder, Oyster Yachts, sign a contract for the all-new Oyster 825 yacht, beautifully designed by Rob Humphreys.
Beautifully designed by Setzer Yacht Architects, the lovely 1700 XPRESSO yacht by NISI Yachts has been shortlisted to participate in the 2014 International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
The second SW82 superyacht GRANDE ORAZIO successfully hit the water at Southern Wind Shipyard in Cape Town on Sunday, January 19, 2014. She is a sistership to Feelin’ Good yacht, launched just six months ago.
Fifth Ocean Yachts and Red Yacht Design are currently working together on the all-new Trawler yacht Snapper 20, measuring 20 meters in LOA. She will be available in two options, with 2 or 3 guest cabins.
The Italian shipyard, Wider Yachts, will be present at the upcoming Miami International Boat Show, running from February 13 to 17, 2014. The company is currently working on the construction of Wider 150′ superyacht.
Set to take place from June 18 to 21, the Superyacht Cup Palma 2014 is expected to host over 20 of the world’s finest yachts, including the gorgeous J Class yachts.
Measuring impressive 80 meters in LOA, superyacht Dragonship 80 is a majestic and elegant trimaran, developed by McPherson Yacht Design for Pi Yachts. She was designed to be charter-friendly, accommodating 12 guests in six cabins, with space for a crew of 17.
