After an intense battle, German Frers Swan 112 charter yacht Mystery was the winner of Race Three at the inaugural Frers Cup, after time correction. Vincente Garcia Torres’ Swan 80 yacht Plis Play was second with Armando Grandi’s Wally 100 superyacht Gibian taking third place.
The upcoming HISWA Amsterdam in-water Boat Show is set to run in the Amsterdam Marina from September 2 to 7, 2014. The largest vessel on display will be the 25-metre superyacht Princess 82 by Princess Yachts.
Azimut Yachts from Italy will be attending this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, with three world premieres on display. These will include superyacht Azimut Grande95RPH, luxury yacht Azimut 77S, as well as motor yacht Azimut 50 Fly.
The overall winner of the J-Class in this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma has become luxury yacht Lionheart. This majestic vessel was built by Claasen Shipyards to a design by Andre Hoek, a regular race crew member of the Lionheart team.
Built by Palmer Johnson to a design by Nuvolari Lenard, the second PJ170 super yacht BLISS (Project Apollo) features four Seakeeper 26 units.
Antalya-based Sunrise Yachts has recently installed three Seakeeper 26 gyros on the 46-metre Heesen motor yacht Big Mak (ex Blowzy). The yard is also concurrently working on another Seakeeper project, a Palmer Johnson 45M yacht, scheduled for completion in August 2014.
New 105m super yacht concept has been proudly introduced by Abdulbaki Senol from Turkey. Featuring a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, it is powered by twin MTU 20V 4000 M73L diesels.
