Italian yacht builder Eurocraft is working on a mini-series of Explorer-type yachts measuring around 44 meters, featuring an in house design by Eurocraft. Eurocraft Cantieri Navali currently has 2 of these Eurocraft Explorer 44 motor yachts in build (hull number #507 and #607) at their port facility in Vado Ligure Italy.

The Fast Displacement Hull Form concept (FDHF, patent pending), by Van Oossanen & Associates was presented to a scientific audience a little more than a year ago at the FAST 2009 Conference, followed in April 2010 by the first publication of the Heesen 6500 FDHF. Van Oossanen & Associates (VOA) have now secured orders for the naval architecture of 6 more FDHF motor yachts.
Dutch superyacht builder AMELS has sold two luxury motor yachts from the LIMITED EDITIONS range, both of them orders for the Tim Heywood-designed AMELS 177 motor yacht. These two latest sales come when the AMELS superyacht yard are already operating at 100% capacity further cementing AMELS’ leadership in the premium semi-custom segment of the luxury yacht industry.
