Fitzroy yachts, New Zealand have recently begun construction on a 40.5m (131’) Sailing Yacht Project named F41. The sleek Frers designed sloop features a silver hull and superstructure, offset by extensive Teak decks. Dick Young is responsible for the interior design.
One of the oldest boatyards in the world, Van Dam Nordia and Simonis Voogd team up to create a new line of high performance cruising yachts. The first yacht in this exciting line will be a 95’ high performance cruiser in aluminium and carbon. The design will be shown at boot Düsseldorf from 22 January till 30 January.

Archipelago Yachts in Bodrum, Turkey, has announced that it has a 40‐metre, modern classic schooner called sailing yacht ZanZiba in build, with the launch scheduled for the autumn of this year. S/Y ZanZiba features naval architecture by Alparslan Tekogul, supported by Paul Spooner of Fairlie Restorations. Exterior and interior styling is by David Wright Design.
