The construction of a new Logica 98 yacht, the first unit of the new Logica series is about to start. The first Logica 98 motor yacht has been bought by an Italian owner and is due for delivery during the 2012 summer season. The exterior lines of the Logica 98 motor yacht and the other models in the Logica range have been designed by Luca Brenta Yacht Design.
Turkish builder Vicem currently have a Vulcan 35-meter tri-deck motor yacht in build at their new 25 million dollar yard in Tuzla, Turkey located an hour from Istanbul airport. The new Vicem 35m motor yacht measures 36.2 m (118′ 8″) in length and features Naval architecture by Mulder Design and interior design by Ken Freivokh.
Balk Shipyard has started the comprehensive rebuild of the 36.40m explorer yacht Lars. Named after the Disney ice bear character, motor yacht Lars will take her owners on expeditions to the North Pole region starting with a maiden voyage from Spitsbergen to Nova Zembla in the spring of 2012. The project involves raising the superstructure and a wide range of other exterior and interior work.
