The 47m Heesen Superyacht BLIND DATE was Keech Green’s first superyacht interior in a modern deco style. And indeed, motor yacht Blind Date was one of the 2010 World Superyacht Award winners (best displacement motor yacht below 500GT) and the judges were impressed with the attractive, well laid out ‘modern deco’ interior offering a neutral pallet of colours.
After 200 nominations for the ShowBoats Design Awards 2010, including the year’s most notable examples of superyacht design and craftsmanship, the finalists are revealed. All qualifying superyachts were delivered during 2009 and have a length overall in excess of 30 metres.
Luxury yacht Palladuim’s almost sensual superstructure is very easy on the eye, but also it looks immediately different in setting itself apart from the other superyachts built to date. Designed by Guillaume Verdier and the interior designed by Stéphanie Marin, the first JP54 has just been launched in Auckland, New Zealand. Produced in a limited series by Absolute Dreamer, the JP54 takes its inspiration from the performances of racing boats to discover new horizons. The JP54 will be in France this summer.
