The hangar system on the Bray 42 m Ocean Explorer motor yacht places the helicopter into what would typically be the central engine room space, but in this case the below-decks area is split into port and starboard mechanical bays either side of the hangar. Through the use of diesel/electric propulsion we were able to fit a standard-shafted drive system with the electric motors mounted on the prop shafts below the sole plates. A standard diesel propulsion system utilizing aqua-drive couplings is also an option.
Palladium Technologies, Inc. has been awarded contracts for the new 42m Trimaran Motor Yacht Hang Tuah. This unique superyacht Hang Tuah was designed by John Shuttleworth Yacht Design, Ltd. and is being built by McConaghy Boats in Zhu Hai, China. Plans are to launch yacht Hang Tuah in early 2011 with her cruising grounds expected to be in the beautiful waters of Indonesia.
MCC’s Marco Polo II project, the second yacht in the Marco Polo series being built at the Cheoy Lee Shipyard in China, has received a new name – MAZU. Literally speaking, in Chinese, the word Mazu (also spelled Matsu) means ‘mother ancestor’.

Designed by Gerard Dykstra and based on the well known Bestevaer series of performance cruisers, the hull of the first yacht (Long Tall Sally) will be built by Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw.

Big Fish will be based in the South Pacific for the coming Northern Hemisphere summer, and then will visit Fort Lauderdale for the international yacht show, after which she will embark on an extraordinary and historic cruise to be the first vessel in history to complete a Polar Circumnavigation, including the first yacht crossing of the famed Northeast Passage over the top of Russia. Big Fish will be offering 10-day luxury expedition charters in the Antarctic (Dec. – Feb.), the Amazon (Mar. – April), Cuba (May – June) and Northern Europe/Arctic Circle/Northeast Passage (July – Sept.) before returning to the Pacific in late September 2011.
