Saturday, June 1, 2013, saw the world’s largest solar boat, PlanetSolar, reached her first 2013 American stopover – Miami, marking the launch of the “PlanetSolar DeepWater” scientific expedition.
At the moment in build at Jet-Tern Marine in China, the all-new Selene 92 Ocean Explorer yacht is due to be delivered in Spring 2014. This lovely vessel features both the exterior as well as interior design by bespoke Guido de Groot Design.

The world’s largest solar boat, PlanetSolar, has set a new world record for a solar-powered transatlantic crossing. Having left Las Palmas in Spain on April 25, PlanetSolar reached St. Martin in French West Indies on May 18.

In collaboration with Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and agnes b., sailing yacht Tara will start her new expedition in the Artic this month. It will cover 25,000 kms and last 6 months.
