The 2013 Master Yacht Engineering class in Auckland, has recently visited the spectacular Ron Holland designed vessels: the 160ft superyacht Thalia as well as the 190ft luxury yacht Ethereal.
A total number of three Dykstra designed luxury vessels have been shortlisted to participate in the eagerly awaited ShowBoats Design Awards 2013: the J Class yacht Rainbow, luxury yacht Pumula as well as superyacht Kamaxitha.
The first day of the 2013 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous saw the victory of luxury charter yachts Salperton and Parsifal III.
Loro Piana is the title sponsor of the “Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous” for the second consecutive year. The 2013 edition will also see the all-new Loro Piana Superyacht Trophy, starting on March 25.

Two luxury vessels by Royal Huisman, the 49m superyacht Kamaxitha (Project Spirit of Tradition) as well as the 37m sailing yacht Pumula (Project Bugamena), have been shortlisted for the highly anticipated World Superyacht Awards and ShowBoats Design Awards. Moreover, Kamaxitha has been also nominated for the 2013 Asia Boating Award.
Set to run in Antigua from April 17 to 18, the inaugural Inn Challenge Trophy represents a race for classic yachts in the style of the America’s Cup. It will be hosting the 80-foot yacht Mariella, built by Fife to a design by Alfred Mylne.
Boat International Media has announced the finalists for the highly anticipated ShowBoats Design Awards 2013. The winners will be revealed on June 21.
