Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has held an official launch ceremony of their new motor yacht Galego in Italy. M/Y Galego is a 31-metre luxury yacht from the CdM Darwin Class 102′ Explorer yachts series. The shipbuilder specialises in luxury yacht construction and design, with a large number of 80-100 ft yacht projects. Darwin Class and Nauta Air are the two most successful motor yacht lines produced by CdM.
CdM Motor yacht Galego launched
Famous for custom-built motor yachts, CdM designed Galego with unique features, both regarding function and design. When the yacht was sold in late 2015, CdM revealed some details on her design, which included a fully-equipped gym area, a large garage for tenders and toys. Interior height allowance saw some modifications too, according to the owner’s preferences.
M/Y Galego
Motor yacht Galego is believed to have interior design by PFA & Partners, developed in collaboration with CdM’s project managers and the owner. Welcoming atmosphere onboard was created by the use of walnut wood, Hermes wallpapers, Paltrona Frau leather and other stunning materials.
Accommodation is provided for eight guests in the following cabin configuration: full-beam master stateroom, VIP stateroom and two guest cabins.
It is likely that motor yacht Galego will join the global fleet of charter yachts, however, this information is still to be confirmed.
