Canados has provided more details into the design layout and specifications for the upcoming CANADOS 888 EVO motor yacht, currently being built at the shipyard in Ostia and which will succeed the CANADOS 86 that has seen 46 models produced.
CANADOS 888 EVO – Bow view
Constructed with an Aramat/Kevlar hull and superstructure, the completed yacht will have a beam of 6.4m/21ft and a maximum draft of 2m/6.5ft for reaching more sheltered anchorages and approaching closer to the shoreline.
In comparison to the CANADOS 86, the CANADOS 888 EVO has floor-to-ceiling windows, redesigned portholes, a foredeck lounge and an aft-facing cockpit lounging area. Each CANADOS 888 EVO motor yacht will have customisation options for the owner, with a large variety of marble, wood and Poltrona Frau leather available to create a bespoke look.
The CANADOS 888 EVO superyacht concept – Aft and starboard
The first hull contains an interior with Strato Olympico marble with white china lacquer as well as woodwork in American walnut and high-gloss ebony. She is designed to accommodate 8 guests and 3 crew, while her features include a hard top bimini covering the flybridge, a 4m tender garage and a SeaKeeper gyroscopic stabiliser system for greater stability while at anchor.
Twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines will power the 888 EVO yacht series: With a fuel capacity of 9,000 litres, she will be capable of a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots, producing a nautical range of 380 miles.
The CANADOS 888 EVO superyacht will be debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, along with the first CANADOS 808 MAXIMUS.
