Nestled in the popular summer yacht charter location – the Eastern Mediterranean, the Karpaz Gate Marina has proved its commitment to promoting tourism in Northern Cyprus by bringing an amazing exhibition, boasting scenes of the country, to Ercan Airport, in partnership with T&T Airport.

The ‘Karpaz: Untapped Beauty’ exhibition by renowned Brazilian photographer Dudu Tresca is on display in the departure and arrival section of Northern Cyprus’s Ercan Airport until 11th November 2013, with further plans to take the display to major airports in Turkey and some European cities, including London.
The 30 photos, which were taken in various parts of Northern Cyprus by Tresca, were originally displayed during the summer in a special gallery area at the 300-berth luxury yacht marina.
One of the most modern superyacht marinas in the East Mediterranean, Karpaz Gate Marina represents the most significant foreign investment in the history of Northern Cyprus and the development of tourism in the country remains a key priority for the marina.

Liza Singer, the CEO and Owner’s Representative of Karpaz Gate Marina, said: “As Karpaz Gate Marina, we put significant efforts into increasing the tourism interest in visiting the country. These efforts extend beyond the actual marina to its magnificent surrounding – the Karpaz region, and to the whole of Northern Cyprus.
“With this in mind we invited world famous panoramic photographer Dudu Tresca to capture the mesmerising beauty around Northern Cyprus. Our aim is to contribute to the promotion of Northern Cyprus by extending the reach of our exhibition that was hosted at Karpaz Gate Marina Gallery.
“We have completed the preparations for continuing the exhibitions at the major airports of Turkey such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir during 2014, after Ercan Airport. Taking our exhibition to London and other European cities is also among our objectives.”

Highlighting the diverse landscape of the region, the photographs by Tresca feature scenes from Kyrenia to Famagusta, Güzelyurt to Lefke and also Nicosia.
