Sailing yacht CANOVA has hit the water at the Baltic Yachts shipyard in Jakobstad. She was designed by Farr Yacht Design and is equipped with an innovative Dynamic Stability System (DSS). Her photos were first revealed last months during the preparation for her launch.

Located on the widest side of the beam, the 9m/29.5ft moving foil was created by Infinity Yachts to ensure stability at a high speed. When deployed leeward, the foil will mitigate some of the pitch while simultaneously increasing speed, similar to America’s Cup racing yachts. The diesel-electric system provides reduced noise and vibrations during cruising.
