The largest Spencer yacht built to date, the 87-foot motor yacht Betsy features four engines and quad pod drives. Superyacht Betsy has been recently fitted with a Seakeeper M26000 gyro, as part of her refit, which was performed by Spencer Yachts and Atlantic Marine Power. The gyro was installed in a forward storage area, sightly forward of amidships.

Currently in the Dominican Republic, commissioning sea trial was performed in 6-8 ft seas and the Seakeeper gyro performed brilliantly. Capt Tim was very surprised and impressed by the gyros outstanding performance. Luxury yacht Betsy is constantly in search of Blue Marlin and as of a few weeks ago has already caught 9 after the gyro install!
