Nobiskrug has announced that superyacht ARTEFACT has completed her sea trials in the Baltic Sea and has been delivered to her Owner.

The 80m/262.5ft vessel comes to a total of 2,990GT and features naval architecture from the shipyard, exteriors by Gregory C. Marshall and interiors by Reymond Langton Design. Her extensively glazed surfaces come to 750m2/8072.9ft2 across five decks and weigh up to 58 tonnes.
Other notable features include cutting edge technology for navigation, including a Dynamic Positioning System. The bridge deck aft is fitted with a Jacuzzi and the flush foredeck has plenty of space for sunbathing, holding a party of for possible use as a helipad. Hybrid propulsions systems make her one of the first yachts to meet IMO TIER III regulations for zero emissions in environmentally sensitive areas.
A pair of Caterpillar 3516-C diesel engines producing 2,340 HP provides the main power, and 23m2/247.6ft2 of solar panels cover the sundeck hardtop to provide 6kW of back-up power. A large bank of lithium-ion batteries stores energy produced by the solar panels for 30% greater energy efficiency in the water than most diesel propulsion engines in her class.
