The French shipbuilder PIRIOU has announced that it has signed a new contract to build a 76 metre mega yacht to be delivered in 36 months. This new contract is an important stepping stone for the yard, which is entering a new market, that of large passenger vessels. The 76m Piriou superyacht will be built in Concarneau in France.

This is the first and real challenge for the French shipyard. Environmentally, the 76m mega yacht by Piriou combines complex technical platform and a very high level of comfort.  The vessel will be used as a Explorer yacht, accommodating on board engineers, scientists and technicians on foreign missions.

76m Piriou transoceanic explorer yacht is designed to withstand extreme conditions and temperatures from −20°C to + 50°C at sea, rivers and great lakes, providing high level of reliability in all conditions encountered. It will be “ICE IC” and “CLEANSHIP” classified.
