We have great pleasure in confirming the dates for the 4th High Performance Yacht Design conference as 12-14 March 2012. This will take place in Auckland, New Zealand during the Volvo Ocean Race stopover. The boats arrive on 8 March and depart on 18 March. The conference venue will be in the heart of the Viaduct Basin in the purpose built Marine Events centre. More details will follow later in the year.
At this stage HPYD4 are inviting abstracts on a range of topics, including:
• Performance prediction and measurement
• Computational methods
• Wind tunnel and towing tank technology
• Materials and structural analysis
• Regulations and rating rules
• Hull and Appendage Design
