Built by Vicem Yachts to a design by Mulder in 2012, the 46m motor yacht Vulcan (ex Caprice V) has been nominated for the 2014 ShowBoats Design Awards. The winners will be announced in Austria on February 24, 2014.

The 46-meter superyacht Vulcan has three decks plus a sundeck. This yacht is a medium speed triple deck motor yacht. Lay-out features an on-deck master cabin and 5 guest cabins below, totaling 12 passengers. There is also a generous salon, dining and sky lounge, along with crew accommodation for 8 with crew messroom.

Her signature open Atrium design provides 45 feet of unbroken natural lighting, from the very top of the Sundeck all the way down to the Lower Deck. The main deck’s Master Suite uses every inch of the 46m yacht Vulcan’s 30 foot beam, and includes an office and private gymnasium. A graceful wraparound entry way leads to an inviting Spa Pool and an arcing full-width head. Far aft is the galley, a dining area for ten, and a relaxing lounge and a spacious upper lounge area.
