Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes will take place from Tuesday 11th to Sunday 16th September 2012 in the Vieux Port and the Port Pierre Canto. The results of the survey carried out among exhibitors as well as visitors demonstrated a clear preference for the event to be open from Tuesday to Sunday, like in 2011.

A New Visual Identity
The Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes is marking its 35th anniversary this year: 35 years of exhibitor and visitor loyalty and show development that have enabled the Festival to become a major international event for tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world and the annual gathering for everyone in the pleasure boating and luxury yachting industry, in terms of business and exposure.

For its 35th anniversary, the visual used to promote the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes has changed. The new design preserves the show’s own particular “DNA” and enhances its uniqueness.

The new visual captures the very essence of the show, i.e. to be the showcase for these “pearls” of the sea, set in the two ports of Cannes at the beginning of September. It expresses at one and the same time the diversity of the yachts displayed in water – the majority of which are being shown for the very first time – as well as the elegance and luxury inextricably linked to the world of yachting and the French Riviera.
