This year’s China International Forum on Yacht and Waterfront Leisure Industry Development is set to take place during the China (Shanghai) International Boat Show, running on April 11. The event is intended to build a high-end forum for representatives from Chinese and foreign yacht manufacturing companies, distributors, supporting facilities manufacturers, yacht clubs, yacht tourism industry, experts and scholars from colleges, universities and institutions, planning and investment developers, financial sector, government departments and industry organizations to conduct academic exchanges, share helpful experience, discuss yacht economy development environment and show the management level of China yacht industry development.
Nowadays, the world yacht industry has evolved into a new pattern. Under the continuing impact of the international financial crisis and the European debt crisis, the world yacht market remains in a deep depression. However, China’s yacht industry witnesses a thriving development, outshining others. It is seeing the continuous optimization of overall yacht development environment, the constant extension of yacht industry chain, the steady growth of import and export trade, the increasing wide-spreading of yacht culture, and the emerging of waterfront leisure projects. Its development is experiencing a gradual hierarchical and structural change. The common demand of new development concepts determines the key topics of the Forum.
The Forum has invited leaders, experts and scholars from American NMMA, the University of Miami, British IBI Magazine, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France, the Ministry of Water Resources of the People’s Republic of China, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and yacht manufacturing enterprises to deliver speeches and conduct discussions and practice under the themes of China and foreign yacht industry development, the construction of waterfront infrastructure and yacht insurance and marketing modes.
