Alexander Marine, the builder of Ocean Alexander yachts, is pleased to announce their decision to paint all 2013 models exclusively with ALEXSEAL® products. Following rigorous examination of the market as well as the various products available, starting with 2013 model year, Ocean Alexander yachts will now be 100% painted with ALEXSEAL® paints.

ALEXSEAL® paint system provides a superior finished surface that is less porous than gelcoat. Traditionally, builders had to choose between a hard to scratch yet hard to repair polyester based system or an easy to repair yet easy to scratch acrylic based system. The innovative paint line from ALEXSEAL® has solved this issue and provides both a hard to scratch and easy to repair surface. An ALEXSEAL® high-gloss, impact-resistant surface transmits tremendous depth of color and rich detail. Yet it also stands up beautifully to heat, chemicals and scratches – so yachts may better survive dings and nicks, as well as caustic oil, fuel and detergents.
In taking a step towards constant improvement, Alexander Marine made investments to build dedicated paint booth facilities at the factories in both Taiwan and China, to allow the application and use of the entire ALEXSEAL® paint line. The current capacity will allow Alexander Marine to paint 3 yachts concurrently.
At the time of press, Alexander Marine’s painting facilities are the newest and most advanced facilities of yacht builders in Asia. With factories in Taiwan and China, Ocean Alexander’s combined yacht-building facilities make it among the largest in Asia. Ocean Alexander is based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Its yachts are available in the U.S. through dealers in Seattle, WA; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Newport Beach, CA; and Sturgeon Bay, WI.
