Feadship has released some of the first images of the newly rebuilt and refitted classic motor yacht ISTROS.

Built in 1954, the 42m/137.9ft luxury yacht had her original hull restored at the Makkum yard where it was joined with a new aluminium superstructure. Classic elements are blended into her bright and contemporary Scandinavian interior that is designed with families in mind.

While preserving her heritage, she has also been fitted with the latest technology to future-proof her for generations to come, and among her new additions is an eco-friendly microturbine. More pictures are expected when she is relaunched this summer.
